Ways to restore naturally curly hair

Healthy happy curls have a natural shine, body and bounce to them. Unfortunately as humans, we always desire what we don’t have. Women with straight hairs always want wavy, curly locks and women with curly hair damage their hair by blow drying and straightening it. Excessive heat will end up making your locks look fried and frizzy. Gels, hairsprays and products are there to worsen the situation. As most of the products available in markets are loaded with chemicals, they further damage your locks. These products deprive hair of moisture and make them look like a ratchet bird’s nest. If you don’t want your damaged hair to shed excessively and make continuous visits to hair clinic in Abu Dhabi, follow the following steps:
Step 1:
Use a hydrating shampoo instead of a clarifying one. Try to go for shampoos that are more minimalistic and use natural ingredients. Shampoos containing sunflower oil and argan oil are best for your hydrating your hair. But they won’t weigh the curls down either.
Step 2
Use a keratin based conditioner for your hair and at least 3 times a week. After shampooing, rinse out excess water and massage the conditioner in the ends of your hair, focusing primarily on the split ends and rinse with cold water afterwards.  Regular use of keratin based conditioner will ensure healthy looking hair and will bring the life back into your curls.
Step 3
Go for deep conditioning once a week. Use a conditioning mask on damp hair. After putting on the conditioner, put a towel in a hot water, rinse the excess water and wrap the towel around your head. Let his treatment sit for about half an hour.  Rinse with cool water afterwards. This will help the product penetrate though the hair shaft and make it soft and luscious.
Step 4
Try a natural hair mask. Combine one banana, plain yogurt, one egg, 2 tbsp honey and few drops of olive oil or lavender oil. Mix them well and apply the mixture to clean hair. Let it sit for about 40 minutes and rinse off with cold water afterwards.
Step 5
Dry your hair with a micro fiber towel. Just wrap it around your hair instead of rubbing it. Try your best to air dry it. Blow drying it will only add to the damage. If it’s absolutely necessary to blow dry the hair, invest in a diffuser and a hat protectant spray. Also, try to minimize the use of heat to about once a week and embrace your naturally curly hair. Minimizing the use of heat will cut the damage and will decrease the possibility of continual visits to hair clinic in Abu Dhabi.
Step 7
To treat frizzy hair, use serums while your hair is damp. You can also use dime size amount of olive oil as a leave in conditioner to seal in moisture and avoid frizz.
